A New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Trailer

I just started re-reading the Song Of Ice And Fire books by George R.R. Martin in anticipation of this series. I hope Martin finishes the books before HBO catches up to him! Any opinions on the cast? I’m withholding judgement until I see more.

What I’m Reading Now

I thought I’d give everyone (all one you, hi Michelle!) an update on what I’m reading now. I’m reading the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. He is the author tapped to finish Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time Series.

I am enjoying the Mistborn Trilogy very much. Sanderson has created a unique and detailed world with many enjoyable and interesting characters. They are beefy books (the way I like ’em), so there is a lot of space to flesh out the world and its characters. I recommend this series to all lovers of fantasy!

What I’m Reading Now

I thought I’d let you all know what I’m reading now. It’s the Banned and Banished series by James Clemens. It’s ok. The thing I like about it is that it’s five books long (I think it’s only five), so there’s ample room to tell a good story. Some of the character development is a bit questionable, but all in all, it’s a good read. Just not something that has me entranced and hungry for more. Here’s the Wikipedia entry:
